METALEX Thailand is one of Southeast Asia's largest metalworking and machinery exhibitions. The 2025 edition runs from 19 to 22 November at BITEC, Bangkok, and Augmentus will be exhibiting alongside our Thai partner Asmech Technology at Booth AJ06.
What's at the booth
A live cell running the Augmentus platform with Asmech's local integration capability. The demo focuses on the workflow most relevant to Thai manufacturing: bringing in a new SKU, scanning it with an Augmentus Vision sensor, generating a toolpath, and running it — entire onboarding cycle compressed from the traditional 3–5 days to under 30 minutes.
Why Thailand, why now
Thai manufacturing is moving up the value chain — more variants, tighter tolerances, more sensitive surface-finish work — while simultaneously contending with rising labour costs and operator shortages. The combination favours adaptive automation that can absorb mix without requiring a programmer for every new part.
