About your role
- Lead UI design tasks within the Unity3D environment, crafting interfaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and functionally superior for advanced robotic systems.
- Drive collaboration across product management and engineering to define and implement innovative design strategies.
- Advocate for design excellence, implement UI/UX best practices, and maintain design consistency across all product interfaces.
- Develop and manage UI guidelines and standards, ensuring a cohesive language across multiple platforms.
- Guide and mentor designers, cultivating a culture of knowledge-sharing and professional growth.
- Utilize tools like Figma for creating design prototypes and Jira for tracking project milestones and deliverables.
- Direct the curation and maintenance of extensive UI asset libraries, ensuring their relevance and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Over 2 years of experience in a senior UI/UX design role, with a significant portion dedicated to complex system interfaces, robotics preferred.
- A comprehensive portfolio displaying a strong command over UI design within Unity3D and proficiency in using design tools like Figma.
- Proven experience with Jira or similar project management tools, demonstrating a capacity for organized and efficient project progression.
- Leadership experience with the ability to guide and inspire a design team.
- Knowledgeable in Agile/Scrum methodologies and comfortable leading in this environment.
